Catering Courses




Catering Courses in Chennai have gained significant importance in the recent years as the demand is on the increase. Successfully passing out students gets placed immediately and the starting salary is usually very lucrative. 1. Certificate Course in Hotel & Catering Management

Certificate Course in Hotel & Catering Management is a certificate program for a period of six months. Students get a condensed idea of the Hospital and Hotel management Industry.
Eligibility- Candidate must have passed 10th/10+2. Course duration is 6 Months, Correspondence, and Certification

2. B.Sc in Hospitality and Hotel Administration

In the first year student will get an overview of Hotel administration, its environment and maintenance and tools for running a hotel successfully. The advanced modules focus on a closer analysis of the operations of the hotel industry.
Eligibility- Candidate must have completed 10+2 or equivalent and must have obtained a valid score in JEE- NCHMCT. The maximum age limit is 22(19 years for SC/ST candidates) years
Course duration is 3 Years, full Time, undergraduate degree. 

3. Craftsmanship Course in Food Production

The course is segmented into two semesters, each of seventeen weeks, which is followed by a twenty week Industrial Training. Subjects covered are Ladder and Cookery, Patisserie and Bakery, Hygiene, Equipment care, and Costing.
Eligibility- Candidate must be 10th pass. Course duration is 18 Months, Correspondence, and Certification

4. Diploma Course in Food Production

This diploma course covers Catering and Hospitality Industry, Cooking Principles and Practices, theory and practical ingredients covering food preparation , Food Safety, and Hygiene. 
Eligibility- Candidate must be 10+2 or equivalent. Course duration is 18 Months. Mode of study is through correspondence.

5. Post Graduate Diploma in Accommodation Operation & Management

This course prepares the students to learn how hotels are administered with regards to housekeeping of the property. The course is presented in two semesters of each of 17-week duration. In the gap between the two semesters, students go for industry visits for four weeks to acquaint themselves with the hotel environment. Sixteen weeks of industrial training is compulsory after the end of the second semester, to enable the students to acquaint themselves with the hotel industry.
Graduates from any stream are eligible to apply. Course duration is 18 months and the mode of study is correspondence.
